BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Bethlehem Area School District has announced the appointment of Brandon B. Horlick as Liberty High School’s new principal, pending school board approval.
Horlick will become the 14th principal in Liberty’s history, succeeding Dr. Harrison Bailey III, who resigned in February 2025 to accept the superintendent position in the Wilson School District.
Horlick most recently served as principal at Broughal Middle School in Bethlehem, where he implemented data-driven strategies to enhance student performance and close achievement gaps.
With over 15 years in secondary education, Horlick holds a master’s degree from Kutztown University in secondary education social studies, principal certification from Moravian University, and certifications in Special Education and Secondary Education.
“Brandon’s extensive experience in instructional leadership, coupled with his skills in creating a positive school culture, makes him the ideal choice for this important role,” said Superintendent Dr. Jack P. Silva.
In his new position, Horlick will focus on academic excellence, fostering an inclusive school environment, and community engagement.
