ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Ms. Rivera was reported found at 2:50 pm on 5/26.

City police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman who disappeared Sunday evening and is considered endangered due to health issues.

Ivette Rivera, 65, who has dementia and diabetes, was last seen around 6:30 p.m. May 25 in the 1300 block of Rye Street after walking away from her home, according to police.

Rivera’s daughter, Lisa Borges, said her mother has been disoriented and has cancer and leg problems that affect her walking. Rivera typically uses a walker but often refuses it.

“She’s been wanting to walk to the store by herself, so we don’t let her because obviously she doesn’t know where she’s at,” Borges said.

When she disappeared, Rivera was wearing a blue jacket, pink leggings, and blue Skechers.

Bank records show that she attempted a transaction at A1 Gas & Mini Mart at 1247 W Turner St, where a clerk confirmed seeing her before she walked toward 8th Street.

Police have searched nearby parks and businesses but have not located Rivera, who does not carry a phone and might be disoriented about her location due to her medical condition.

She has been without medication and hasn’t eaten since Sunday morning.

Anyone with information should call Allentown Police at 610-437-7751.
