The expansion follows what ArtsQuest called a record-breaking year: 145,552 visitors in 2025, nearly 14% more than the year before. That works out to about 128,000 in 2024. The igloos, introduced last year, sold out on most weekends, ArtsQuest said, and 192 families and groups used them.
Sam Jellinek, the IronPigs' manager of broadcasting and media relations, confirmed the time in an email. The show's Facebook page announced the closer Oct. 18, writing: “Looking forward to getting everyone back together again.”
The 4 p.m. screening is the first of three Halloween events the theater, at 19 S. Fourth St., listed in an announcement Monday. A burlesque show follows on Oct. 23, and a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" screening on Oct. 31 honors Tim Curry, who died in August.
The open-air center opened in October 2006. A trade report that August named 15 of its opening shops and services. Nine are still in the center's directory, including Barnes & Noble, L.L.Bean and Yankee Candle.
Teams of two pay $75 to enter. At the 64-team minimum organizers list, entry fees would total $4,800 before sponsorships, raffles or donations. The foundation has not published a fundraising goal.
Four of the six have dates that weekend, and three fall on Saturday, Oct. 24, alone: the Witches' Walk and Market After Hours in Easton and the Witches' Midnight Market in Lehighton. Hours, prices and lineups below come from organizers' websites and Facebook posts.
