QUAKERTOWN, Pa. — Dave’s Hot Chicken will officially open its Quakertown location on Friday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m., following a postponement from its originally scheduled April 18 opening date.
The new restaurant, located at 270 N West End Blvd., will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and The Integrity Group, followed by special promotions including free sliders for the first 100 guests.
The Quakertown location features distinctive street art that pays homage to the brand’s humble beginnings in an East Hollywood parking lot while incorporating local historical references, including tributes to Quakertown’s historical train and the liberty bell that the town safeguarded in 1777.
This opening marks the fourth Dave’s Hot Chicken location for franchise partner The Integrity Group Corp. (TIG), part of the brand’s planned expansion in 2025.
“Going from a parking lot pop-up run by three friends to a global restaurant with 250 locations in seven years is the American Dream story,” said company CEO Bill Phelps. “As we continue to expand across the globe, we know that focusing on making the most craveable, hottest and juiciest hot chicken on the planet will ensure that expansion.”
Pranav Desai, Executive of TIG, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the Nashville-style hot chicken chain to Quakertown. “Quakertown area is in for a treat being the first to experience Dave’s signature heat and unique flavors, which have rightfully built a massive fanbase in the US,” Desai said.
The grand opening celebration will include an all-day raffle where four guests can win free sliders for a year, entertainment until 2 p.m., and special guests.
Dave’s Hot Chicken specializes in Hot Chicken Sliders and Tenders with sides including house-made Kale Slaw, Mac & Cheese and seasoned French Fries.
The chain offers seven spice levels, from No Spice to Reaper, with the latter requiring customers to sign a waiver.
The company began in 2017 when three childhood friends — Chef Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan and Tommy Rubenyan — launched the concept from a parking lot with just $900, portable fryers and folding tables.
The brand has since expanded to more than 250 locations and sold rights to over 1,000 franchise locations worldwide.
