Emmaus Farmers’ Market marks 22 years of serving the community
EMMAUS, Pa.- The Emmaus Farmers’ Market celebrates 22 years of service to its residents throughout 2025 at Triangle Park nearly every Sunday free of charge.
The Market sells fresh produce and educates the public on the benefits of supporting local agriculture, according to their website, and it operates rain or shine at Triangle Park, Main St, Emmaus, PA 18049.
It is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May to November. It will continue to operate from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of January until April, excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Marketing and event coordinator Jen Schuster has been at Emmaus Farmers’ Market since 2017, and she detailed what she liked most about it.
“Community and fresh local produce from the farmers that grow it,” Schuster said. “We are a producer-only market, so every single vendor that you meet at Emmaus Farmers’ Market has grown their own produce, baked their own pies, and pastries and breads.”

Schuster also commented on the growth of the Emmaus Farmers’ Market throughout the years.
“We keep it traditional,” Schuster said. “We’ve just grown as far as our variety and people coming. They want to be here. They want to support their local economy.”
Produce was provided by new vendor Salvaterra’s Gardens from Alburtis, PA, and other vendors. Owner Matt Salvaterra explained what inspired him and his family to join the Emmaus Farmers’ Market.
“We were looking for other market opportunities,” Salvaterra said. “We’ve been farming for 20 years. We do a lot of other markets in the area.”
Live music was provided by guitarist Gene Cullison, who volunteered to play at the Market. He specializes in classic songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and other past decades, according to his Facebook account.
