Here’s a guide to Halloween 2025 in the Lehigh Valley, featuring family-friendly activities, spooky thrills and local traditions. Whether you’re handing out candy in Bethlehem or chasing ghosts in Allentown, there are plenty of events to enjoy.
Lehigh Valley Zoo – Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo returns to the Lehigh Valley Zoo on Oct. 11–12, 18–19 and 25–26. Visitors can trick-or-treat from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at candy stations throughout the zoo, enjoy music, crafts and character meet-and-greets on the SEN Dining Terrace, and take part in games and animal feedings. Guests should bring their own trick-or-treat bags. Food will be available from Geakers Tacos and the Cockatoo Café.
Tickets are $16 for ages 12 and older, $14 for children 2–11 and free for infants under 2.
Dorney Park – Tricks and Treats
Tricks and Treats is Dorney Park’s family-friendly daytime Halloween celebration, running on select dates through Nov. 2. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, a trick-or-treat trail with costumed characters, costume contests, crafts and fall-themed food and drinks. The event also features Patch’s Pumpkin Patch for decorating gourds, specialty souvenirs and seasonal beverages for adults, alongside the park’s regular rides and attractions.
Dorney Park – Halloween Haunt
Halloween Haunt transforms Dorney Park into a nighttime Halloween destination filled with haunted mazes, scare zones and live shows. Costumed creatures roam the park, and rides such as Iron Menace are even more thrilling after dark. The event is recommended for guests 13 and older. Families looking for daytime fun can attend Tricks and Treats instead.
Allentown – Hallo-Weekend and Parade
Allentown’s Hallo-Weekend features a mix of family-friendly and cultural events, including Movie in the Park, citywide trick-or-treat, the Halloween Walking Parade and a Día de los Muertos celebration.
The Halloween Walking Parade, held Nov. 1, emphasizes safe streets with no moving vehicles and showcases bands, dance groups, local organizations and vendors. The Día de los Muertos event on Nov. 2 honors Mexican traditions with music, dance and cultural activities, featuring local, authentic Mexican businesses and organizations. Movie in the Park is Oct. 24, and citywide trick-or-treat is Oct. 31.
Bethlehem – SteelStacks Zombie Ball
The annual SteelStacks Zombie Ball returns Friday, Oct. 31, at the Musikfest Café. Guests 18 and older can “dance the night away to DJ Andrew Highland’s bloodcurdling beats,” enjoy tarot readings, aerial performances and themed food and drinks, and compete in costume contests for cash prizes.
Tickets are $19.25 and limited to 666 attendees.
