BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A wave of K-pop energy is coming to the Lehigh Valley as local studios and community centers celebrate “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” the 2025 animated Netflix film that blends choreography, pop music and monster-fighting adventure.
The movie, which follows the girl group Huntr/x — K-pop idols by day and demon hunters by night — has inspired themed events across the region, from ice skating and painting parties to Korean cultural festivals and dance camps.
Join the hunt — on ice

The Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem is transforming into a K-pop battleground this Halloween weekend. On Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., families can skate to a live set by DJ Joel Shimer of WZZO, featuring hits from the “K-Pop Demon Hunters” soundtrack.
“Our marketing guy said, ‘hey, this K-pop Demon Hunter thing is huge with kids of all ages from, like, three to, like, 16,” said Steel Ice Center general manager Angela Davis. “We looked around, found a DJ and decided to hire him to come in and have a fun day where hopefully the kids will come dressed up.”
Guests are encouraged to come in costume — whether as characters Rumi, Zoey and Mira or in their favorite Halloween attire — for an afternoon of music, skating and photo ops. The event is open to all ages, with skate rentals available.
“We’re gonna turn the lights down, put the DJ lights on, and take requests, and it should be a fun afternoon,” Davis said.
Dance like a demon hunter
Valley Dance, at 2027 Willow Park Road in Bethlehem, is hosting a series of “K-Pop Demon Hunters” dance camps. The Nov. 16 session (3-4:30 p.m. for ages 8-12) is filling up fast, and the Dec. 14 camps will offer two time slots — 1-2:30 p.m. for ages 4-7 and 3-4:30 p.m. for ages 8-12. The classes give fans a chance to learn choreography inspired by the movie.
Each one-day camp costs $25 and includes music, dance instruction and themed fun. Registration details are available at valley-dance.com/specialevents.
Korean food and photo fun
Fans can also stop by the Korean Food Festival at the Korean Church of Lehigh Valley, 1987 Schadt Ave. in Whitehall, on Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event offers authentic Korean cuisine and a “K-Pop Demon Hunters”-themed photo backdrop for visitors to strike their best poses.
Kids’ night out, K-pop style
For younger fans, The Art Den of Nazareth, 37 Belvidere St., is hosting a K-Pop KNO (Kids Night Out) on Oct. 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The evening includes pizza, soda, a coloring contest, a movie and themed painting projects — all with a dose of “K-Pop Demon Hunters.” Parents can drop off kids for two and a half hours.
From dance floors to ice rinks, the Lehigh Valley is ready to celebrate the “K-Pop Demon Hunters” franchise.
