BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Mom Market will return to the Bethlehem Rose Garden on Sunday, May 17, for its spring edition, the fourth seasonal market since the women-owned business showcase launched in August 2025.
The free, outdoor market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and opens with a power Pilates class at 9 a.m. led by Vibe Power Yoga, a woman-owned studio based in Upper Macungie Township. Attendees can expect vendor booths, interactive workshops, and wellness programming throughout the day, according to organizer Devika Knafo.

New collaborations this season include Sweet & Sassy of Lehigh Valley, a Center Valley-based kids’ salon offering haircuts, mini-manicures, makeovers, and themed party experiences for children and tweens.
Knafo, 26, a Lehigh Valley native, founded The Mom Market to increase visibility for women entrepreneurs and to create a support network for mothers balancing business and family. She said the market has grown into what she describes as a community ecosystem as much as a shopping event.

“The Mom Market has not only evolved as an economic catalyst, but also a social support system,” Knafo said. She said collaborations and pop-up events have continued to form between vendors in markets.
The market has expanded steadily across its first three seasons. Knafo said the debut summer market in August 2025 featured 40 vendors, and by the end of 2025, more than 85 women-owned businesses had participated across the series.
She said the market has connected with more than 250 women-owned businesses in the Lehigh Valley and partnered with more than 120 across its first four seasons.
The fall 2025 edition drew more than 65 women-owned businesses to the Rose Garden on Oct. 26, coinciding with the Bethlehem Halloween Parade.
Knafo said she is working to formalize attendance and economic-impact tracking starting this season, including measuring headcount and collective vendor revenue. Those figures have not previously been recorded, she said, though she estimated several hundred people attend each outdoor market.
Wellness programming is a central focus of the spring edition. Knafo said the market has added partnerships with St. Luke’s University Health Network’s physical therapy, which returns this season, as well as with groups focused on perinatal care and youth development.
“When women are supported in mind, body, and spirit, they bring their best energy into everything they touch,” Knafo said of the wellness emphasis.
Pat’s Pizza is returning as the market’s in-kind donor and will provide pizzas for participating vendors, Knafo said.
Ahead of the May 17 market, The Mom Market will host a pop-up at the Pennsylvania Menopause Conference on May 7 at The Club at Twin Lakes. The conference, organized by the nonprofit Menopause Project, is in its second year and features medical and holistic providers alongside women-focused vendors.
Knafo said Instagram at @momsmeetmarket remains the primary channel for vendor applications, pop-up announcements, and market updates.
The spring market takes place at the Rose Garden at Eighth Avenue and West Union Boulevard in Bethlehem. Admission is free.
