The Castaway Band primarily covers older rock and modern-day songs as stated by their Facebook account.

Bass guitarist and vocalist Mark Stevens described what The Castaway Band was looking forward to the most for the night.

“It’s the first day of summer of course,” Stevens said. “So…we wanted to bring in Summer 2025…right here in Center Valley. We actually played this…same summer concert series two years ago. Last year…due to some scheduling conflicts we couldn’t make it.”

The Castaway Band played The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer,” Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” and many other songs throughout the event.

Stevens elaborated on what The Castaway Band really liked about the concert.

“The connection with the audience,” Stevens said. “We had some people up dancing, clapping, singing along…and that’s always the best part of the night.”

Stevens also explained where The Castaway Band will perform next for their upcoming performances.

“Next week…we play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,” Stevens said. “Friday, we are at the Coplay Saengerbund from 6 to 10. Saturday, we are at Weather Vineyard in New Tripoli from 6 to 9…On Sunday, we are at the Diamond Fire Company in Walnutport for the 7 p.m.”

The event also featured many food trucks, such as Slide on By and Donut NV.
