EASTON, Pa. — WDIY 88.1 FM is bringing back its Lehigh Valley “Hollywood” Squares, a live game show fundraiser with local leaders in the celebrity squares, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the State Theatre Center for the Arts, 453 Northampton St.
General admission is $75 and includes food by Cafe the Lodge, general seating, raffles, a chance to play in a fourth round and a cash bar, according to WDIY’s event page. A $125 VIP ticket adds a gallery area, food by Zekraft, beer and wine, a meet-and-greet with the panelists and VIP seating.
The event is “in support of WDIY’s mission,” its page says, and the station is raising money after a loss: it said on Instagram that it lost approximately $111,000 in annual federal funding last year, part of cuts to local public media.
WDIY has announced at least seven panelists:
- Joetta Clark Diggs, a four-time Olympian
- Tiffany Sondergaard, founder of TS Brand Elevation
- Erika Riddle Petrozelli, president and CEO of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation
- Sara Viteri of Turnstone Creative and La Princesa Productions
- Jason King Jones, artistic director of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University
- Elizabeth Meade, president of Cedar Crest College
- Yusuf Dahl, CEO of The Century Promise and founder of the Real Estate Lab
The format is a 3-by-3 grid of squares, and WDIY’s event page promises “surprise guests.” Laura McHugh, who hosted last year, is back as host “by popular demand,” the page says.

“So, who doesn’t love a good game show?” Sondergaard said in a video WDIY posted on Facebook. Clark Diggs said in another, “I’m excited to be part of this fundraising event, being myself, having fun, and I look forward to seeing you soon.”
Raffle tickets are $20 for one, $50 for three or $100 for seven, WDIY said on Instagram. Prizes include two Allegiant tickets to any nonstop destination, courtesy of Lehigh Valley International Airport, with a purchase value of up to $1,000; a Cactus Blue taco bar for 30 people, a $500 value; a one-hour guest co-host spot on the station’s show “The Blend”; and an Alison Krauss & Union Station “Arcadia” vinyl record with merchandise.
Last year’s game, on Oct. 28, 2025, was what WDIY called the most ambitious fundraising event in the station’s 30-year history. It had three rounds and a comedian-led auction that included a Martin D-28 guitar. None of this year’s seven named panelists were on last year’s panel.
