BETHLEHEM, PA — Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites (HBMS) is set to host its much-anticipated Apple Days Festival and Market on September 14th and 15th, 2024, at Burnside Plantation.

The event will bring families together for a weekend of activities, food, music, and adventures.

The festival features several attractions and activities, including a hay bale maze, pony rides, and farm animal visits. Children can also participate in the annual Donut-Eating Contest with prior sign-ups.

The event also offers the opportunity for both kids and adults to showcase their baking skills in the Apple Dessert Baking Contest.

Guests are invited to visit the historic Summer Kitchen, watch cooking techniques and demonstrations, and then stop by the Banko Beverage Apple Days Tavern to taste a variety of seasonal craft beverages.

Attendees can also use their tasting tickets to sample apple-themed sweets from various bakeries in Lehigh Valley.

Additionally, the festival’s Market to Go provides the opportunity to pre-order apple-flavored foods, including ice cream, pies, tarts, strudels, and more.

Burnside gardeners will be on site to inform guests about crop rotations and garden maintenance as the fall season approaches.

Attendees can also tour the historic 1748/1818 farmhouse to discover the American agricultural lifestyle centuries ago.

In addition, the event features a new historic area, offering attendees a chance to step back in time and engage in several activities.

Guests can shop for different items and crafts from local vendors, including SLR Stained Glass Studio, Soaps on Linden, Rebel Hive Meadery, Mother Nature Minerals, Diedre Rose Designs, Fairy Fox Face Painting, Matt-Hat Jerky, and Creating Crystals.

The event aims to provide a joyous atmosphere for families as it celebrates the arrival of fall through activities, food, historic views, and shops.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person. Adult tickets are $10 online and $12 in person, and tickets are $5 for children ages 4-17.

Family Pack tickets are $27 for two adults and two children.
