ALLENTOWN, PA — Due to medical reasons, the rock band Heart canceled its performance at the Allentown Fair on August 28th, part of their Royal Rush Tour.

The band’s lead singer, Ann Wilson, recently announced on July 2nd that she will be undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy as her doctors advised her to rest and recover.

Heart was originally expected to kick off the Allentown Fair as this year’s opening night headliner.

Fair organizers have announced that Cheap Trick and Blue Öyster Cult will replace Heart’s performance.

Tickets are available on the official Allentown Fair website.

If the issuing vendor allows, refunds for Heart’s performance at the Allentown Fair will be processed and issued automatically to customers.

If automatic refunds are unavailable, customers must request their refund from the original place where they bought the tickets.

Ticket holders who choose to do so may keep their tickets, which will be honored at future rescheduled dates.

The band has postponed all of its forthcoming performances on the Royal Rush Tour.

Rescheduled dates are expected in 2025 after Wilson’s recovery.

The band’s team also encouraged fans to keep their tickets for these shows until they announced updated tour dates.

Fans have sent the singer heartfelt messages, wishing her a speedy recovery and good health.
