ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Mayfair Festival of the Arts will return to Cedar Crest College in Allentown from May 23 to May 25.

This marks the seventh consecutive year the college has hosted the event, continuing a tradition that spans over three decades.

Katy Kresge, associate vice president for campus operations at Cedar Crest College, said the college continuously tries to improve the festival while staying true to what the community has come to expect.

“Over the years we’ve made the layout more efficient and easier to navigate,” Kresge said. “We love opening our beautiful campus to the community for this event.”

The festival kicks off Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., and continues Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. Musical acts this year include The Large Flower Heads, Go Go Gadjet and Philadelphia Funk Authority.

The festival will conclude Sunday night with a drone show.

“We are always excited to welcome our vendors and performers,” Kresge said. “This year we are particularly looking forward to our first-ever drone show. Starflight Drone Shows will be lighting up the sky with 100 drones equipped with LED lights that will form graphics and animations that will be set to music coming out of our mainstage tent.”

Mayfair will feature 47 indoor and outdoor artists and crafters offering handmade goods and artwork. 17 food and beverage vendors will be on site. All vendor transactions will be cashless.

Admission and on-site parking for Mayfair are free. Proceeds from the festival directly benefit Cedar Crest College students through the Cedar Crest Fund. The full performance schedule and festival map can be found on the Mayfair Festival of the Arts website.
