WILSON BOROUGH, Pa. — Dave and Lisa Colver announced Monday that Piscitello’s Home Center will close Oct. 30, ending a run that began in 1958.

The closing ends the Colvers’ four years carrying on a store that has sold lumber, hardware and kitchen and bath design in the Easton area for generations. The Colvers took over in 2022, according to the store’s website, which said they knew the importance of keeping the store open; their Monday post gave no reason for the closure.

“It is with a very heavy heart that we share that Piscitello’s Home Center will be closing our doors,” the Colvers said.

“Piscitello’s has been so much more than a hardware store to our family,” the Colvers said.

A liquidation sale starts Tuesday, Oct. 13, with 20% off storewide through the final day of business, Oct. 30. All sales are final.

Gift cards, coupons and open credits must be used by Oct. 30, 2026. The store will fulfill special-order projects already started and will not start new special orders.

In a follow-up comment on the post, the store said Piscitello’s is the only business at 2300 Wood Ave. that will close, and that other businesses at the property will remain open.

Store hours for the final weeks are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays; the store is closed Sundays. The store is at 2300 Wood Ave. (Easton mailing address) and can be reached at 610-258-0441.

The store opened in 1958 as Piscitello & Son and remained family-run until the Colvers took over in 2022. The Colvers, a local couple with a background in building and construction, modernized the store after taking over, according to the store’s website.

“While our family has only had the privilege of carrying on that legacy for the past 4 years, this store has quickly become such a meaningful part of our lives,” the Colvers said.

The post did not say how many employees the closure affects, whether they sought a buyer, or what will happen to the store’s space after Oct. 30.

“Thank you for the memories, the support, and for letting our family be a small part of yours,” the Colvers said.
