9th annual Lehigh Valley Zoo food truck festival returns Labor Day weekend

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley Zoo will host its ninth annual Food Truck Festival from Aug. 30 through Sept. 1, presented by Whitetail Disposal.

The Labor Day weekend event will feature at least nine food trucks each day at the zoo located at 5150 Game Preserve Road. The festival requires only regular zoo admission, with no additional fees.

Admission prices are $16 for adults ages 12 and older, $15 for seniors ages 65 and older, and $14 for children ages 2-11. Infants under 2 are free with an adult or senior ticket.

Group rates of $13 are available for groups of 15 or more. Zoo members do not need reservations as the event requires only general admission.

Food truck lineups vary by day, with vendors including Couchpota.Doh!, K’Town Pub, Charlie’s Italian Sausage, The Greek Shack, Bananarama, The Udder Bar, Kona Ice, Naz-O-Nut, The Local Scoop, Pop’s Malt Shoppe, and Pie in a Cone rotating throughout the weekend.

The zoo’s regular food vendors, Geakers Tacos, Cockatoo Cafe, and Mini Melts, will remain open throughout the weekend.
