ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Guitar virtuoso Jerry Cantrell, best known as the co-founder and lead guitarist of rock legends Alice in Chains, will bring his solo tour to the Lehigh Valley when he performs at Archer Music Hall on Tuesday, September 2nd.

The concert marks another milestone for Archer Music Hall, which opened in March of this year and has quickly established itself as a premier destination for entertainment in the Lehigh Valley.

Cantrell, 59, has been a driving force behind Alice in Chains’ distinctive sound since the band’s formation in Seattle in 1987.

His heavy, melodic guitar work and harmonies with late vocalist Layne Staley helped define the grunge movement, along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

The Archer Music Hall show is part of Cantrell’s “I Want Blood” tour, which begins its U.S. stretch in San Diego, California, in mid-August.

Tickets for the Jerry Cantrell show are now on sale at $59.50 and are available through Live Nation. According to venue management, the show is expected to sell out quickly.

The concert begins at 8 pm, and the doors open at 7 pm.
