The Lehigh Valley is celebrating Pride Month this June with events highlighting and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Here’s a roundup of events in Bethlehem and Allentown:

Bethlehem Pride Flag Raising

Friday, June 6

Bethlehem will kick off its Pride Month celebrations with a ceremonial flag raising, signaling a month of inclusivity and community pride. Residents are invited to gather at Payrow Plaza from 1 to 2 p.m. to watch the ceremony.

“Help us start Pride Month right and continue spreading Queer Joy across the Lehigh Valley,” reads the Facebook event posting.

The Colors of the Heart of Huemanity

Friday, June 6

The Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center in Allentown will host an art reception featuring work by Rising Phoenix Reign. The event will include an evening of visual art, live poetry, and a celebration of Black history. The exhibit will remain on display throughout June.

LGBTQ+ Family Day at Da Vinci Science Center

Saturday, June 7

Families can enjoy science, art, and learning at an inclusive event at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown designed for LGBTQ+ parents and children. Tickets will be available at a 15% discount.

Pride Night at the IronPigs

Tuesday, June 17

Pride is coming to Coca-Cola Park in Allentown. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will host Pride Night featuring themed entertainment, community partners, and a celebration of LGBTQ+ visibility in sports.

Striding With Pride

Wednesday, June 18

Join the community in downtown Bethlehem for a Pride walk and run hosted by Aardvark Sports Shop. The walk covers 1 mile, and the run covers 3 miles. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

Bethlehem Pride Bar Crawl

Saturday, June 21

Starting at The New Street Pub in Bethlehem, this 21-and-older event will feature Pride-themed drinks, dancing, and drag. Attendees are invited to bar-hop in celebration of Pride.

Allentown Out & Proud

Saturday, June 28

Wrap up the month with a major celebration outside Allentown City Hall, featuring live performances, community resources, and food vendors. Out & Proud is the city’s flagship Pride event.
