EASTON, Pa. — Downtown Easton will host a new family attraction with the arrival of Hologram Zoo Lehigh Valley, a high-tech, immersive experience designed to bring wildlife to life. The experience does not include any live animals.
The Easton Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Easton, will host a public ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, July 18, at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the grand opening.
The free event will run from 10 a.m. to noon at Easton City Hall, located at 123 S. Third Street, Suites 4 and 5.
Hologram Zoo Lehigh Valley was founded by local entrepreneurs Harshal and Manpreet Patel, combining the family’s passion for education, sustainability, and experiential learning with 3D holographic projection technology.
Guests will wear 3-D glasses to enjoy life-sized holographic animal encounters and narrated educational journeys.
Easton’s zoo is the second of its kind in the United States — and the first in the Northeast — offering visitors an innovative and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional animal exhibits.
“This is not just a new business — it’s another enriching family experience to add to our downtown landscape,” said Caitlin Hamlin, assistant vice president at the Easton Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re proud to support innovative ventures like this that bring families together and energize our downtown.”
The Patels say they were inspired by their young son’s fascination with animals and their desire to create something meaningful for families throughout the Lehigh Valley.
With no live animals and a minimal environmental footprint, the zoo aligns with their broader mission of education and sustainability.
Chamber officials noted Hologram Zoo Lehigh Valley reflects the city’s continued embrace of technology, culture, and innovation.
