ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will host “Salute to HOT TAMALES® Night” on Saturday, Aug. 23, when they face the Durham Bulls at 6:35 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park.

The themed game celebrates a new partnership with the HOT TAMALES® Brand to mark 75 years of the iconic candy. The collaboration features co-branded merchandise, including caps, shirts, and jerseys that blend the candy’s flames and red tones with IronPigs branding.

The IronPigs wordmark appears in the candy brand’s font, while the team’s pig head logo is reimagined in the brand’s style. Jersey sleeves feature a special 75th anniversary logo and brand crossover logo.

The Aug. 23 game will feature candy-inspired food and themed promotions.

The first 5,000 fans will receive rally towels presented by Shammy Shine Car Washes, followed by postgame fireworks presented by Goodwill Keystone Area.

“Most people think I came to the Lehigh Valley in 2008 because of my role with the IronPigs. In fact, it was because I learned that HOT TAMALES® are born every day here,” said IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes.

Tickets are available at ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling 610-841-PIGS (7447). Players will not wear the collaborative apparel on the field.

Merchandise is available at shopironpigs.com and the IronPigs Clubhouse Store at Coca-Cola Park.

The candy is manufactured by Just Born Quality Confections in Bethlehem.
