BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Hundreds from the Lehigh Valley community came together on Independence Day to celebrate with fireworks, live music, food, and local vendors. The festivities ran from 3 to 10 p.m., culminating in a fireworks display at 9:20 p.m. presented by the city of Bethlehem.

A centerpiece of the day was the Hometown Heroes 2025 banner, honoring over 1,800 local veterans. Independence Day marked its final public showing.

Live performances featured a diverse lineup of artists, including New Jersey’s John Derosa, known for his country-blues fusion. Also taking the stage were The Allentown Band, The Audio Files with their rock sound, The BRUCE Show—a Bruce Springsteen tribute—and Big Bone’s rock-and-roll blues.

The celebration also offered a wide variety of food options, ranging from American classics like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and funnel cakes to treats such as deep-fried Oreos.

Vendors such as Heaven on a Bun, MGG Concessions, Mack Truck Stop, and Palette and Pour were on hand.

Retail booths added to the festive atmosphere, featuring unique finds from The Licorice Guy, Collective Curiosities, Your Choice Chocolate Guys, and Imperfections by Niki.

Held at SteelStacks, the event honored veterans and brought the community together through music, food, and shared pride in local traditions.
