Mom Market winter edition pairs holiday magic with meaningful mission
EASTON, Pa. — More than 20 women-owned businesses will showcase holiday merchandise at The Mom Market: Winter Wonderland on Dec. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Element Preservation, 915 Northampton St.
The event will feature a holiday tree auction with all proceeds benefiting SELF! LV Women’s Reentry, a Lehigh Valley nonprofit that supports women transitioning back into the community after incarceration or trauma.
“We’re really excited to be able to partner with SELF! LV Women’s Reentry,” said Devika Knafo, 26, organizer of The Mom Market Lehigh Valley.
“They provide these vital programs and services for women reentering the community after incarceration and other traumatic experiences, and support them in creating safe, productive lifestyles and contributing back to the community.”
The market follows a fall event in Bethlehem that drew more than 65 women-owned businesses to the Rose Garden.
Vendors will sell handmade and artisan items, including holiday goods for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and seasonal celebrations.
The event schedule includes “Merry Little Moments” holiday card photo sessions from 4 to 8 p.m., “Fireside Cocoa with Santa” from 6 to 7 p.m., and the “Trees of Love Auction” charity feature from 7 to 8 p.m.
Additional activities include a Santa meet-and-greet, hot cocoa bar, Disney princess appearances, live music and photo opportunities. Steph Bakes will cater goodies, with beverages from The Backyard Bar Co. and Elm Hill Vineyard and Winery.

Adult tickets cost $15 and include a tote bag, access to food and all activities. Children under 18 are admitted free. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com and at the door.
Archer Music Hall has joined as a sponsor for the event. Those interested in sponsorship opportunities can contact Knafo at @momsmeetmarket on Instagram and Facebook.
Knafo, a Lehigh Valley native who returned from Florida, created The Mom Market to support women entrepreneurs who balance career and family goals.
