The official Musikfest app is now available for download on iOS and Android devices as Bethlehem prepares to host the largest free music festival in the world for its 42nd year.
The free app, sponsored by PNC, is designed to help festival attendees navigate Musikfest’s offerings, which include 15 free stages, 11 ticketed headliners, hundreds of live performances and a wide range of food and artisan vendors.
“Each year we are thrilled to support the boring, behind-the-scenes work that leads to a brilliant result — the best app, designed for the best fans attending the best ‘fest,” said Pete Danchak, PNC regional president of Northeast Pennsylvania. “The app allows fans to have access to updated information throughout the festival and takes center stage in helping ensure guests have the best Musikfest experience.”
App users can build custom schedules, receive real-time alerts about pop-up shows and schedule changes and explore the festival grounds using an interactive map.
Additional features include exclusive giveaways, behind-the-scenes content and safety notifications including weather updates.
ArtsQuest President and CEO Kassie Hilgert emphasized the role of the app in enhancing the festival experience.
“Our priority is making sure every guest has the best possible Musikfest experience,” Hilgert said. “This app helps us connect directly with attendees while giving them the freedom to design their own fest journey.”
Musikfest will run Aug. 1–10, 2025, with a preview night on July 31. ArtsQuest will continue to announce free stage performers throughout the summer.
Musikfest 2024 drew more than 1 million attendees and featured more than 500 free performances across 16 stages.
