Musikfest celebrates mascot’s anniversary with concert ticket giveaway
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Musikfest is marking a special milestone this month with a social media giveaway offering fans a chance to win tickets to a main stage show of their choice.
The promotion celebrates the 13th anniversary of Artie, the festival’s owl mascot, who first appeared on the 2012 Musikfest poster.
Originally not widely noticed on that poster, the character has since become the festival’s beloved symbol.
ArtsQuest, the arts organization behind Musikfest, announced the Instagram giveaway through its official accounts.
To enter, participants must like the announcement post on Instagram, follow both @artsquest_pa and @musikfest accounts, and tag a friend in the comments. Sharing the post provides an additional entry opportunity.

“To celebrate his ‘Gotcha Day,’ he’s giving YOU a special gift: 2 TICKETS TO A MAIN STAGE SHOW OF YOUR CHOICE!” the announcement states.
The character, initially referred to as “Artemis” by ArtsQuest staff, features prominently in the festival’s visual identity.
The orange owl with headphones became more noticeable on the 2013 poster designed by ArtsQuest graphic designer David Blank.
A winner will be selected on Thursday, April 3, according to the announcement.
