Is it hot in here, or is it just Nelly at Musikfest? On Wednesday, August 6, the Grammy award-winning artist won over the Bethlehem crowd on night six of Musikfest.
Nelly was able to headline at the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza for one of the biggest crowds I had ever seen, and he put on quite the show!
There was movement, smiles, laughter, and an audience that appreciated what they were watching. Nelly and his dancers were astounding. The crowd was filled with high hopes, and Nelly filled every expectation.
Not a single person was sitting down throughout his performance. When Nelly sang his hit song, Dilemma, the crowd immediately roared. There were people in the crowd waiting just to hear Dilemma live, and it seemed to be better than they expected.
Something that caught my attention throughout the show was how orchestrated the lights were. The lights seemed to go along with every drum note, and flickered at every major moment!
For Bethlehem, being a smaller town, having a star such as Nelly perform is a big deal. Bethlehem is a city that embraces culture and media. It is a city that loves to share art, especially music.
Having Nelly present at Musikfest was an honor. Nelly truly put on a show that everyone will definitely remember!
